If there is one trait that is consistently present in all of history that trait would have to be irony. History is full of irony. It is ironic when you consider that Benjamin Franklin’s own son was a loyalist. The obvious question that comes to mind is how could Ben Franklin’s son become someone who was against the idea of America becoming its own country.
