In 2000,the author went to the Iran- Afghanistan border and discovered many women like Deyana..At that time,she got a news that Deyana was still alive.
At the end,the author know that Afghanistan was still a patriarchal socity after Taliban being routed. Afghanistan needs be helped because there are so many weapons and land mines.She hope Afghanistan¡¯s women can have a new life and her Deyana will be good.
