Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown is a fitting motto for Shakespeare’s Henry IV. All the troubles which were faced by Henry constituted a rough kingship. Whether or not pity was taken towards Henry or if his hardships were deserved or inevitable, he was faced with many adversities that created a continual theme throughout the play that king Henry was in a perpetual state of unrest and burden.
