out a role which was given to her by her husband and society. Instead of being an individual, Nora was trying to be the stereotypical housewife and good mother. Throughout Nora’s marriage, her and Torvald were just playing out roles which didn’t fit the way Nora wanted to live and didn’t allow her to be an individual.
