There are many stereotypes that society has placed on youth. Adults as well as other youths hold images in their heads that are not necessarily true about the different groups of teens. Rather than writing about youth as a whole, I found information about the different groupings that teenagers split themselves up into. “Skinheads” are a common group that many male teens will follow. Although a person may listen to rap music and wear baggy clothes, it does not mean that they live in the “ghetto” and enjoy smoking drugs and killing people. What I am trying to prove is that not everyone, even the people that are in the same social groups, have the same beliefs and ways of living.
