The topic I chose for my persuasive essay is: “should we keep drinking commercials on TV?” In my opinion we shouldn’t. The companies that make and sell alcoholic beverages advertise their products on the TV and radio, in newspapers and magazines, and on billboards. These pictures show men and women having fun and relaxing with friends while drinking. These advertisements tell viewers that if they want to have fun and be seen as handsome

lives. It kills 6 ½ times more young people than any other drug combined. Each year in the United States 97,000 deaths are related to drinking to much alcohol. That is more than there are people in St. Charles, Aurora, and Batavia.
In conclusion I do not think that we should continue to keep alcohol ads in magazines and on TV, etc. Just think, if we stop that we could save some lives. Some is better than none.
