What is Love? In the American Heritage College Dictionary, the definition for love is a deep tender feeling of affection, and solicitude toward a person such as that arising from kinship of a sense of oneness. Knowing the literal definition is not enough for a person to fully understand the concept of love. The only way for someone to understand love is to have been in love at one point and time. People today seem to take love for granted, and say it when they don’t actually mean it. They do this most likely because, they are afraid to be alone. Love can be very hard to find, some people are just lucky to find it. It’s not a necessity, but its life’s greatest gift and luxury.
