“Walker Brothers Cowboy” The narrator of the story has a strained relationship with her mother. Whereas the mother’s dress is very nice and conservative, Nora’s “is flowered more lavishly than anything my mother owns.”(Pg.12) It is also sleeveless, something the narrator’s mother would never wear.
