parts of the neighborhood were never very nice they were by no means dangerous. Now, however, there is so much crime on the streets most people do not feel comfortable walking around late at night. The distinction between the two parts of town have become much more obvious. The poorer sections are filled with abandoned, run down buildings. This deterioration s because so many people have lost their jobs or are unable to afford housing.
