Having a short temper or feeling jealous is very common today. Whether it’s a personal characteristic or one seen in friends, they are considered flaws. In my opinion, both stories have one shared moral.
The moral of both stories is that the smallest of flaws can bring down the highest of people and result in undesired pain. Therefore, making them tragic heroes.
