Throughout time, the biblical story of David and Goliath has been a representation of good triumphing over evil, the true at heart and meek prevailing in the end. David himself has become a symbol of both power, and since the Renaissance, one of absolute beauty. Many sculptures and paintings of David have been done over time, but perhaps the three work of David that emit such beauty

et he does create beauty, although his sculpture is much more jagged and defined .
All three artists portrayal of this hero of the church and people have truly brought the influence of their time and commitment to this biblical scene. Although each not alike in any way, yet bringing great contrast, and causing one, Donatello’s to be almost pagan likein it’s lighthearted stance, theses sculptures will forever stand as beauty.
