In conclusion, Brutus is the tragic hero of Julius Caesar. According to Aristotle’s definition, one has noble statures, tragic flaws, responsibility for his own downfall, and excessive punishment for his crimes. Brutus fits all these descriptions. Not only that he is a tragic hero, but that he is the one that fits into the description better than any other character in the play. Thus, Brutus is the main tragic hero in the play.
