The Road, The Door, and The Magic Words

Following the “Roman Road” to the “Door of Salvation” and reciting the “repeat-after-me” magic words that mysteriously transform a person into one of the “saved” was an experience that caused me great bewilderment for many years. …showed last 75 words of 2086 total…to question my salvation. I finally understood the words of Romans 8:16. God’s Spirit indeed was bearing witness with my spirit that I am His. There is a “roman road”. And, that road does lead to a “door” named Jesus. But there are no magic words to recite to make the door open. The secret is not in the “words”, but in the condition of the convicted, broken, and repentant heart crying out to God.
