The Meaning of Character

A cursory glimpse at the Oxford English Dictionary enlightens the reader to the fact that there are no less than nineteen definitions of the word character – of which, six focus on a person’s moral fiber and overall nature. We are as much a product of the immoral ways of our ancestors as of the moral. A rainbow composed only of bright colors would not be much of a rainbow. One thing, however, is certain. Who we are today is all about character.
