Since it’s introduction in 1984, Apple’s Macintosh computer has represented the most
obvious alternative to the world of Intel-based computers running Microsoft’s operating
systems.
Despite the domination Intel-based computers have on the business market,
Macintosh computers retain a niche in a few applications with a die-hard core of
enthusiasts and Macs dominate, three to one, in the creative market.

It is obvious, I hope, that my preference for the PC over the Mac is grounded in the real world whereas Mac lovers tend to ignore these sensible arguments for their love of all things Apple. Unless a chosen profession dictates the in depth knowledge of and willingness to use Macs, everything that needs a computer uses the PC, not the Mac.
