After the colonists in America decided that they were going to attempt a move towards freedom from British rule, they found them selves in a little bit of a “crisis.” One of the more serious problems was that the British might try to invade, and stomp out such a revolution. and they needed to be fixed before another disaster would happen to break out. I feel that the United States could have survived a little longer without making the new Articles, but I don’t feel they could of survived for a whole lot longer. If they had not been changed when they were, it is possible that a civil war could have accured much sooner than the great Civil War of the mid 1800’s.
