The Great Gatsby is a novel written by F Scott Fitzgerald. Nick is the narrator he was going out with Jordan Baker. Nick has cousin named Daisy who is married to Tom. he knew that it was killed instantly. Gatsby was also going to take the blame for the hit and run and that makes him far braver than Daisy.
I would have to agree with Nick that Gatsby was better than Tom, Daisy, and Jordan, and that “they were careless people… they smashed up things… and then retracted back in to their money… and let other people clean up the mess they had made…. (Fitzgerald 187-188)
