The Empty Self I believe that the empty self refers to the lack of Spiritual growth in the lives of today’s Christians . The absence of this maturity leaves Christians stranded without the proper tools to influence and impact their world and culture for Jesus Christ. I believe that it is possible for a Christian to avoid obtaining the empty self. First, we must put on the full armor of God (Romans 6:11) so as not to fall into temptation. Then we must stay grounded in what we believe, with our focus completely on God.
