The American Dream

The American Dream This novels theme is based mostly upon the “American Dream.” Throughout the two chapters I read, I have learned a lot about how Gatsby has tried to accomplish this American dream. Gatsby tells his story of how he started out as a poor kid, born in a small town in North Dakota. This made it difficult to keep in touch, the relationship faltered, and daisy found love somewhere else. She married a rich man named Tom Buchanan. When Gatsby got back he still never forgot about Daisy. He had to find a way to win back this woman of his dreams.
