From what i have read in this book so far it makes it very hard for me
to take any of the parts seriously. The reason for this is that certain parts in
the novel are extremely over exaggerated. Because certain parts in the story
are very hard to believe. Such as in the first three chapters, John and Alice
encounter certain thing that wouldn’t really happen.
Also the fact that john uses so

across and twenty feet down. Also the fact that he is only ten years old and he
is supposedly as strong as a thirty-year-old man. Then in chapter six where he
is almost killed by the gorilla and suffers injuries that are impossible to
survive from. But some how he survives by Kala licking his wounds until they
are healthy. These are the reasons why I feel the story is over exaggerated
