that the Germans were losing the war. Officers Guajardo and Goldbaun had planned to ask our hand after the war had ended. All we had was hope that it would turn out to be like that.
It did on Nov.1, 1945 we were liberated from the camp. Mr. Goldbaun and Mr. Guajardo did keep their promise. We got married and throughout the years we moved back to Poland. We thanked God we had made it through.
