Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116 I have been touched by many poems throughout my short time dabbling in poetry, but none so much as a beautiful sonnet sketched from the magical pen of William Shakespeare. …showed last 75 words of 1201 total…but a second later, ironically – says we can’t do it. We know that he writes, and he knows what love is. There just are no words to describe the command this couplet illustrates. Love is forever, love doesn’t fade with loss of beauty, love is guidance, love doesn’t give to temptation and this cannot be proven differently. It is this pinpoint accuracy that drives every human to experience such a surreal sensation.
