During the 1930s the Great Depression triggered a crises in the nations economic life. The Great Depression left millions people unemployed and penniless. President Franklin D. For example, I have a job and the government is taking out money from my check to pay for social security. Therefore, I’m paying for my grandma who is on social security. When I get old and file social security my grandchildren will be paying for me. Although social security is a good thing it is faced with many problems.
