Many smokers don not like the new by-laws, but others support them. Secondhand tobacco smoke is a cause of disease, including lung cancer, strokes, heart disease and asthma, in otherwise healthy nonsmokers. They should not be able to completely outlaw smoking. Smoking by-laws are a good thing because they allow people who do not wish to inhale smoke to not have to. The smokers may be mad about this but too bad for them. People should not have to inhale second hand smoke. All-in-all the law is a very good one.
