Salvador Dalí
One of the most profound artists, Salvador was an astonishing person that won over his audience with his intriguing paintings along with his original thoughts and beliefs. Throughout his life Dalí went through a series phases that affected his art: Cubism, Futurism and Metaphysical painting. St John of the Cross that is now in the Glasgow Art Gallery. In addition to the religious paintings, Dalí painted sexual images of his wife Gala that he did to keep busy in his spare time. In addition to his sculptures and paintings, Dalí wrote a few autobiographies and produced some movies, including one with Alfred Hitchcock. There are now museums in Dalí’s hometown that holds many of his creations.
