Radium, one of the most radioactive elements on the periodic table, discovered by the famous Marie Curie, and used for treating cancer are some of the reasons why radium is a very well known element. As you can tell, Radium is a very interesting element, with how it is separated, who it was discovered by, it’s radioactivity and where the radiation goes, and it’s ill-fated use.
