Presidential Greatness: Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential greatness is due to being in the right place at the right time as in the case of Franklin D. Roosevelt. We don¹t know for sure if FDR¹s greatness was due to him being in the right place at the right time but we know that he will always be remembered. Many of FDR¹s method are still used today along with many New Deal programs that still are used today. FDR helped pull us out of the Great Depression, therefore, he is remembered as a Great American President.
