Pearl Harbor and Retaliation
On Dec. 7th, 1941, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. To retaliate to this act of war, the U.S. dropped A-bombs on Japan. The attack on Pearl harbor was a greater wrong than the A- bombing on Japan. The sneak attack by the Japanese violated core democratic values such as Public/Common Good and The Rule of Law. On the other side, The A-bombing on Japan by the U.S is supported

at war, Germany tried to defeat France by using the Schlieflen Plan. They wanted to take over Paris before France took over Germany. In order to reach Paris, they had to go through Belgium, who didn’t allow them to. Finding no other way, Germany took over Belgium. That caused Great Britain to go at war with Germany. Due to that Germany could not succeed in their original plan. In this case, Japan was A-bombed.
