I never wanted to become a senior citizen. I always thought of old people as being so helpless. Also, it seemed like it would be really depressing to see the old people at the retirement home because it would remind me of my own mortality. thought it would be. Actually, it wasn’t bad at all. I got to know a great guy and I also learned that people who are in nursing homes are not always unhappy. Also I learned that to become old isn’t always the worst thing. This lesson taught me that a person might be physically old, but on the inside, which always counts, they can be as young as they would like to be.
