The people need to accept all aspects of past and present Canadian life. “If we differ among ourselves, we also make up a nation that is different from [other] nations, and it should be our historic mission to continue to…define those differences” (Henighan, 2). The compromise of this fusion will protect the culture for generations of Canadians. Then all of Canada’s people will partake in cultural and national issues for the future.
