In this story Merlin was trying to bring good leadership to the country while Queen Mab was trying to corrupt good and bring evil into leadership. Arthur was a good man but after being deceived by Mab he could not be the right man to rule the country. Fick wanted good and to leave evil but was afraid to leave Mabs side because he feared he may lose his life.
