This has caused decline because its the main route for trucks and big vehicles producing noise, smell and population and causes major traffic jams. People don’t like Route 30 because Manchester used to be a quite city with little traffic problems and pollution. Therefore allot of older people have moved either to rural parts of Manchester or to a smaller city.
