Magnolia is a film about nine different people who are faced with regrets. “We may be through with the past, but the past ain’t through with us.” This is a line in the movie that best describes the plot. Each story consisted of complex situations that somehow correlate with one another. Everyone’s lives are attached, yet we the audience don’t realize it. After he had done his job, he just walked out of the room and left the hospital.
