Lewis Carroll’s Childhood and Schooling
On January 27, 1832, Lewis Carroll (born Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) was born into Northern English with Iris connections family in Cheshire, England His grandfather (also named Charles Dodgson) had advanced through the ranks of the Anglican High Church. His grandfather died in 1803 when Lewis Carroll’s father and uncle were babies.
