Delaware Indian Tribe
The Delaware Indians or “Lenape Indians” are such a great tribe to research and learn about. There are several reasons for choosing this tribe to study about. The chief reason (no pun intended) is the fact that the Delaware Indian tribe was located in New Jersey. By studying this tribe, I can understand more about the tribe and also about the early ages of my home-state.

The Delaware Indians(Lenni-Lenapes) are surely one of the strongest Indian tribes then and now. In today’s times, the tribe occupies two small reserves in the Ontario province(Moraviantown and Munsee). They are close to about 10,000 in number at this time and are headquartered in Bartlesville where the tribal government operates service programs. They were and are a successful native American tribe and hopefully, the legend continues.
