In 1959 Petaluma purchased Lafferty Ranch to provide water for the citizens, from the headwaters of Adobe Creek. 1992, the state, stated the water, “seismically unsound”, and had to retrofit it. Committee for Choice is the second group, who wants the park to be under development because they want a park so people can go and hike, paint ect.
If I was to take a side I think I would want a park because lots of people enjoy being outdoors. By swapping Moon Ranch and Lafferty Ranch, the drive is more safe and it is next to Lafferty, which means its near the old water reservoir.
