Jonathan Ewards

Jonathan Edward’s “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” was one of the most revolutionary sermons of it’s day. Mr. Edwards style of preaching was very effective in getting these “wicked people” to repent of their evil. Although Edwards’ form of teaching was very pessimistic and discouraging, it got the message across to the people. Edwards’ was a great preacher, and his development of the “Fire and Brimstone” form of preaching did a lot to further the ministry in this country. That form of preaching may not be exactly what the world needs to day, but something as new and different as what he did, would turn our world around.
