Italian Renaissance
The Italian Renaissance was a time of rebirth, questioning and exploration in Italy beginning in the early 1300’’s. During this time the arts, sciences, and literary philosophy flourished. Italian scholars and artists studied the work, leaning, and art of the ancient Roman and Greeks in attempts to recapture the works of ancient Greece and Rome in their own literary and philosophic works.
