India: The Empire of the Spirit

This section of the film series focuses in on India and the many cultures within. Referring to it as “ the empire of the spirit,” the film certainly does show the wide array of spirituality in India. Their culture has been there for thousands and thousands of years, and I imagine that we cannot begin to understand what they believe and how they live. Spirituality is a big factor in how they live. For thousands of years the Indian culture has been thriving and succeeding in ways we in the west will never understand. Hopefully in the next few years we will learn more about their country without bringing too much of ours into India. They have many thriving spiritual cultures from which they gain the strength and fulfillment of which the United States needs more.
