Music can lift your spirits, can make you depressed, make you think of your lover, or send surges of adrenaline through your body. Music also keeps traditions alive. …showed last 75 words of 557 total…mind of someone who doesn’t feel that emotion. Some bands have so much pent up rage, fear, depression, or joy, that they just need to sing about it. These bands are particularly my favorite, because raw emotion is much more beautiful than just words. Bands and musicians give themselves to listeners, leaving themselves vulnerable to criticism. Listeners, in turn, take the music as a tool to help deal with joy, love, pain, or anger.
