How medicine began

A very long time ago there were two neighboring tribes. They were called the Chippewa’s and the Navajos. These two tribes have been fighting over land and food for years. Although, it wasn’t the tribe, some of the Native Americans in the tribes would try to keep peace among them. They thought of bringing the good spirits down to heal all the men so they danced around the fire hoping the good spirits would help them. So after their dance they turned and realized that it worked. All the men were feeling better and that’s where they thought of medicine.
