Since I was of the age seven I have been reading books given to me by my Aunt, a librarian in Vancouver. It’s easy for me to get into a book and tune out the rest of the world. Most books I’ve read have taken me far away to my own special place but some challenge me and make me reconsider things I already knew something about.

to your own problems. I like being another person, realising that no one is actually quite different to me. The reality of how close their insecurities are to mine gives me a better handle on life.
In the end it all boils down to the author and her thoughts and feelings. The perspective she creates is what lets you in to her own little world. Her world which I wouldn’t hesitate to call mine.
