Hinduism & Buddhism

In comparing Hinduism and Buddhism, I am compelled to say that Buddhism seems a subset of Hinduism. It is a form of Hinduism that is easier for ordinary people to understand and follow. Some of the differences between the two religions and their complexities lie in their origins. Its popularity and spread to Asia is a major factor that sets it apart as a different religion.
