Hebrew literature basically explains to us how God expects us to live. Because of the fact that He is all loving, he will forgive us if we mess up. Because he is omnipotent, He will choose the consequences of our decisions, although we make our decisions. And, because He is all knowing, He knows what choices we make and what results we expect.
