Heating Design

In this task we were asked to make a house that would be thermally efficient and thus energy efficient to heat and cool. Energy is transferred through three mediums, conduction – surfaces contacting and transferring energy through them, convection – natural air cycles etc, and radiation – energy transferred without a medium. …showed last 75 words of 564 total…power cut occurs the house still has electricity, the house also feeds unused electricity in the national grid thus making the meter rotate backwards reducing the bill or even giving credit for future bills. It is not uncommon in summer for the meter to run backwards and in the owners build up credit and then in winter the credit is used and a small electricity bill is made for the coolest part of the year.
