George Orwell’s book, Animal Farm, is a great book. However, the characters that the pigs portray are cunning, sneaky, and sly. The seven commandments, which are the foundation of their society, (p.21) will all be broken in time. The three most important, to me, are the commandments stating, no animal shall kill any other animal, no animal shall sleep in a bed, and all animals are equal. …showed last 75 words of 571 total…way George Orwell portrays the pigs to be sneaky, power-hungry, and manipulative gives those characters great depth and an aristocratic air. He also portrays the working animals quite well into the role of peasants and factory workers because, as in the USSR under Stalin, they are uneducated and brainwashed. However, this also points out that dictators have absolute power over their own rules and keep it like that by keeping low education in their state.
