First Day at School

I didn’t want to go, but I knew I had to. I couldn’t stay in the past and I knew I had to move on towards the future. As soon as I got there I wanted to leave. I didn’t belong and there was nowhere for me to go. I had to move forward and there was no turning back. She introduced herself as Sheena and she was shocked that I could even say her name. That morning at recess, she introduced me to many people and showed me around the campus. She told me about herself and I did the same. My worries slowly went away and I started to get use to my new school.
