Executive and Legislative Powers The Executive and Legislative powers of all three NAFTA countries share similarities and differences in their internal relationships. Thus to gain support for an administration we see “negotiation” as our new tool for policy making. Ultimately, the relationships these countries have between their branches of government reflect both the governments ability to initiate change and the representation, or lack there of, for the people in that change.
