However Macbeth is also on the edge of depression and on the verge of thinking he’s lived enough, he gets mood swings and when the passing away of his wife is announced his life becomes empty. Everything that was significant to him before has been turned to zero.
Macbeth then goes into battle, hurrying off to die a hero but he realizes it’s the end and is ready to die.
