Iran, and Cuba to help stop communism from spreading. The operation in Cuba failed to remove Fidel Castro from power but was successful in Guatemala and Iran. What impressed me about Eisenhower was his ability to manage crises which could have lead to nuclear war with the Soviets. "We are going to have peace even if we have to fight for it."
